Our Measures for more sustainability go hand in hand with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, which serve as guidelines for sustainable behaviour worldwide. We are proud to already be contributing to many of these goals - and we are constantly developing further.

Conserving resources starts in everyday life. Our vehicle reconditioning system uses treated water in a closed circulation system - and thus saves resources. Thousands of litres Fresh water per year. 7 Affordable and clean energy
With our Photovoltaic system (2,500 kWp on our own buildings), one of the largest in the region, we at Hanselmann cover a large part of our energy requirements sustainably. We also rely on the use of Electric forklifts and Elektrosmarts, to optimise energy consumption and emissions.
We only need 18 % of this generated energy for our own processes. From 2025, individual appliances in the electric vehicle group will also be able to store energy. Bidirectional technology makes this possible.

Vehicle preparation is also environmentally friendly with treated water, This significantly reduces water consumption. 90 % of the water used is collected from the roof surfaces, treated several times and used to clean our vehicle fleet.

Through the purchase of "The good chocolate" - an advertising medium that is given away to customers - is a tree planted with every fifth board. This initiative supports reforestation and makes a direct contribution to achieving Goal 15, which promotes the conservation and sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems. In 2024/2025, 10,000 m² were acquired and maintained.
