We recently received a request from a customer in Switzerland to deliver up to 40 aluminium coils with a weight of up to 13 tonnes into 20-foot sea containers - with an extremely tight deadline: The first containers were to be loaded by 2 March.
The ideal solution lay in the high-end technology of JMG: With our new JMG MC 100.08 electric crane - equipped with a maximum load capacity of 15 tonnes on the forks - we were able to master the challenge efficiently. The coil mandrel was individually adapted to JMG cranes, load-bearing drive-in ramps were built and the load distribution was optimised.
Thanks to the close cooperation between our Specialists from Hanselmann and JMG Germany could be realised within only five working days all customisations, tests and preparations for delivery are completed - including document creation, insurance and contract drafting.
The total solution: Provision of a special machine - the JMG MC 100.08 with coil mandrel, ready for maximum performance, highest precision and efficient handling of extremely heavy coils.
